Clarion Precision Medicine Inc. stores and communicates test results to our clients.  The process has been designed to prevent cyberattacks and Ransomware that is so prevalent in this high tech environment.

Our LOW-TECH Air-Gap process:
Clarion Precision Medicine Inc.'s Multi-cancer Early Detection (McED) Blood Test partners do not receive the clients' private demographic information (name, age, sex, etc).  The client is only identified to the our testing partner companies with their respective test IDs.  Only Clarion's internal McED requisition, filled at the time of blood sample collection, can match a client's test results to the client.  Body Imaging still requires client identification via test requisition.

Some provinces have a shared provincial Electronic Medical Record which may hold radiology results.

It is up to the client to have their private scan results uploaded to this system, or not.

The client is responsible for communicating this preference at the time of the scanning appointment.

Test Results will NEVER be communicated over the internet.  Once Clarion Precision Medicine Inc. receives the results and match to our client's name on file, we will provide them to the client via registered mail/other tracked mailing services to the address on file.

The Test Results are stored on a device which does not connect to the internet, and receives operating system and anti-virus software updates via an encrypted USB key.  Our hard drives are encrypted with 256-bit AES.

Client Communications for Results:

1) Initial Client communication of results is the default setting where the client undergoes testing, and subsequently receives a hardcopy of the test results via registered mail/tracked services to the registered address in our records.

2) If the client changes their address after testing but before we send out the results, it the responsibility to the client to notify Clarion Precision Medicine Inc. in a timely fashion to ensure proper delivery.  A change of address requires proof with a scanned copy of the client's Driver's License or Passport.  The mailing cost for the initial report is covered within the cost of our testing services.

3) If the client would like to request another copy of the results at a future time, the client will have to verify that their mailing address with a scanned copy of the client's Driver's License or Passport.   

Additional copies can be provided in the future at a cost of 20$ CAD to cover mailing and administrative services cost.

4) Positive Test results will be accompanied by additional recommendations on next steps, including a filled requisition by the Medical Director of Clarion Precision Medicine Inc. for a private diagnostic scan (CT/MRI) targeting the organ/cancer in question.  This requisition can be taken to any of Clarion Precision Medicine Inc.'s private imaging partners to book for a scan.  This is a FREE complimentary service.  The scan results are stored with our secure processes above and communicated to the client by registered mail/tracked service.
